Ajesh Chitrakar is a contemporary Nepali artist from Lalitpur. Inspired by paintings at home, he began creating art in childhood. Working in painting, performance, installation and video, is best known for detailed Pointillism style.

"Corruption is not limited to any specific person. Anyone can be involved in it. That’s why I haven’t shown the character’s face in my artwork. When someone commits corruption, they often act like no one is watching. So, in my artwork, I have placed a blindfold where the eyes would be — representing that willful ignorance or denial. The money earned through corruption is always used solely for personal benefit. That's why in the background of the artwork, money is flying everywhere — representing that it has been misused and wasted, not used for any good or collective purpose. I’ve used light shades to depict the money, while the character is illustrated in dark shades. This has a symbolic meaning: money can be of two types — white money and black money. All the money shown in the artwork is in light shades, representing white money, but the clothes worn by the character are shown in dark shades, implying that those clothes were bought using black money — money earned through corruption. Moreover, money earned through corruption is not easily visible. People don’t see how it was earned; they only see the materials or possessions bought with that money. Importantly, the inside of the suitcase in the artwork is entirely black. This represents a 'black hole'. Just as a black hole sucks in everything — matter, light, even time — the corrupt person sucks in money and resources endlessly for themselves, with no regard for others. The Golden dot represents the value added to something like Gold."

Shardul is a mythical creature often depicted in South Asian art and temple iconography, especially in Nepal. It is usually shown as a hybrid beast resembling a powerful lion or tiger, sometimes fused with features of other animals, symbolizing unmatched strength, courage, and protection. In Newar art and architecture, Shardul figures are frequently carved on temple struts, toranas, and gateways, where they serve not only as artistic motifs but also as guardians believed to ward off evil and negative forces. Representing both ferocity and auspiciousness, the Shardul stands as a reminder of divine power and protection in traditional mythology and cultural expression. The Golden Dot behind head represents the value added to something like gold and The Black Dot above the leg represents that now these precious sculptures are getting destroyed day by day and must be protected and preserved by us human being

Likewise owl can see in the dark, in the same way we must also be able to see the dark thoughts and feelings properly so that we can separate the dark unwanted things and thoughts from light wanted ones

This time it's the same fish, without tears but with a big smile in its face to express it's happiness as it is free in its natural home ocean but not trapped in an aquarium like a lonely fish. We people must be like a cheerful fish free in an ocean to become happy always

As a whale comes out of the sea or an ocean to breathe as it has no gills and it has to breathe with its lungs to sustain its life. It shows that we must also be like a whale to live and survive like it according to the environment around us.
