About the Artist

Krishna Lama (b. 1988, Kathmandu, Nepal) is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores time, memory, and spiritual consciousness through expressive human fourms. He completed his MFA from Tribhuvan University and BFA from Lalitkala Campus. Lama has held three solo exhibitions at the Nepal Art Council-Dissolving into Forms (2012), Light that Holds a Dream (2016), and Passage of Time (2020)-and has participated in major national and international exhibitions, including the 10th Beijing International Art Biennale (China) and Kathmandu Art Biennale. He was part of the Britto Students' Residency Programme (2011) at Bindu Space for Artists and has received the National Fine Arts Award (2017, 2024, 2025). Based in Kathmandu, he also works as an art educator.
