Everything that i shall experience between birth and death is a passage through shifting light- a collection of moments that arrive unannounced and leave quietly, shaping who I become without asking permission. Joy and loss, wonder and uncertainty, all move through me like seasons, each leaving traces that cannot be held yet cannot be erased. This work reflects that fleeting journey: a remainder that life is not a destination to possess, but a continuous unfolding to witness, feel, and finally release.

This painting is an ode to the lost artists whose contribution is an immense treasure to our nation. They worked not for fame, but for continuity, trusting that beauty would outlive memory. The temples rise still, their windows alive with delicate carvings, their pillars bearing myths that refuse to fade. Rain has touched them, earthquakes have shaken them, centuries have passed- yet the artists remain present in every grain and fracture, whispering through craftsmanship that defies forgetting.

Becoming Transcendence Rasik Rai does not seek to represent the world as it appears, but as it is felt—as it is intuited. His practice is a pursuit of transcendence, an attempt to glimpse what lies beyond the material and visible realms. Through his work, he explores the subtle thresholds where the inner and outer worlds dissolve into one another, where form gives way to presence and silence. In his process, Rasik listens closely to stillness and allows it to speak through color, texture, and space. Each work becomes a quiet dialogue with the unseen—a meditation on reality that cannot be captured, only sensed.

The work captures this slow erosion, not as loss alone, but as transformation, where the past lingers like embers, still present, yet never fully within reach.

A fragile, organic core is held within rigid, architectural forms that both sustain and confine it. What begins as structure and support slowly transforms into intrusion, overtaking the very body it was meant to protect. Branch reach outward, hinting at a fading connection to something natural and free. Reflecting on the quiet tension between dependence and control, where survival and loss begin to exist in the same breath.

Decaying Pillars stands as a portrait of support turned fragile, where strength erodes from within long before it collapses outward. What once held weight begins to falter, not from force, but from the slow infection of corruption and concealed rot. Mold spreads like truth denied, creeping to the surface, revealing what was always there but left unseen.

Manjushree stood at the valley’s edge, witnessing the sacred light submerged within Lake Nagdaha. Raising the mighty sword Chandrahas, he struck the southern mountains at Chobhar. The jagged rift released the primordial waters, draining the basin to reveal fertile land, transformed from a silent deep into a cradle for civilization.

The Story of Manjushree

This is a deep emotional connection between two souls from different generations, where their conversation flows naturally and purely, without any pretension or falseness. Just as nature is whole and connects all its creations in harmony, we too are connected by nature. Even though we can physically feel each other’s presence, our emotional bond is even stronger and unshakable, going beyond the physical world around us.
